Why Reading Matters
Alright so writing and reading are completely different modes. When you're writing you need tools — sidebar, toolbar, all of it. When you're reading you need everything to disappear. Reader Mode strips the UI and shows you exactly what a script reader will see. Your screenplay. Full screen. Nothing else. This is how producers read scripts. This is how you should be reading yours.
The Reading Experience
Click the expand icon in the top right. Watch — sidebar gone, toolbar gone, screenplay fills the screen. This is the reading experience. Scroll through like a reader would. No distractions. No buttons pulling your attention. Just the pages and the story.
Wrap-up
Read your own script in Reader Mode after every major revision. You'll catch dialogue that runs too long, action blocks that are too dense, pacing issues you can never see in editor mode — boom, right there in the read. Click Exit Reader to go back to writing. Free tool, no limits.
